True, Truth……πŸ€”πŸ€“

All the world 🌎 over, each day, the courts are full of those trying to uncover the truth. This is a trying process, and the lawyers who are trying to pry the truth out of people have really got a job to do. Children who have been adopted when they reach adulthood, will often times Β seek to find their biological mother. They want to know the truth, they want to know why they were put up for adoption, they want to know who they really are. Human nature wants to know the truth, even if humans do not tell the truth all of the time. Scientists from decades ago, have sought out the mysteries of creation, how does this work, what makes us, us, and so on. They were driven by finding the truth, and they still are today. If they could find the true concoction for the cure for cancer, als, Alzheimer’s, and so many other diseases, oh how wonderful that truth seeking could be. Often, though, so very often, people overlook the real TRUTH. Each day they seek the truth, groping in the darkness, but never finding the TRUTH. There is a saying that has been taken out of context, that comes from the Bible, but this the true context. John chapter 8:31,32, “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him,Β If ye continue in My Word, then are ye my disciples indeed;(32) And ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free.” Β

Jesus is the Truth, and when you know Him, the Truth,(He) shall set you free. Jesus said, those who sin, become the servant of sin, and so when you know Him, The Truth, He will break the bonds that are holding you captive and you will be free! Therefore the Truth shall make you free.Β

Seek truth, but don’t overlook The Truth, once you find Him, you will be free indeed.

πŸ€”Your Crossword Life πŸ”Ž

I absolutely love working crossword puzzles. It is so relaxing to me, and it is something I look forward to. Sometimes, there will be a word that I cannot get at all. I will have worked all around it but since I can’t get one ☝️ letter in one row, the other connecting to it is impossible. It can be quite a challenge πŸ€”,and then it will dawn on me or I will have to look πŸ‘€ Β in the back of the book for the answer 😝, and usually it will be a simple word, but because the ONE letter was not there, it will totally throw me off.~ Our lives can be this way. Perhaps you have it allπŸ‘‘πŸŽ“πŸ’ΌπŸΌπŸ†πŸš—πŸ πŸπŸ’°, and yet there is something that is not quite right, or you could be struggling in life and have the feeling that there is something missing. If you have not asked Christ to be your Lord and Savior, then there is a major blank part in your life and no matter what you try to fill it with, nothing will fit except God. You may try to find all kinds of solutions but you will not be able to complete your “puzzle,” because it is not the correct “letter”. Our whole purpose of being is to serve the Lord and when one does not do this, they will always feel incomplete. John chapter 14:5,6 “Thomas saith Β unto, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? (6) Jesus saith unto him,Β I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”Β Jesus is the ONLY WAY my friends, He is the ONLY one that can fill that blank spot in your life, and make you whole! Only by asking Him to save you, will your life ever be complete, only then will you realize your true purpose. Only He can complete the “crossword,” that is your life.Β

Letting Go of the Past

Some people are afraid to come to Christ because of their sins. They feel so unworthy and undeserving of His grace. In these cases, God longs for you to come to Him more than you could even imagine. In Him is life and fullness of joy, and He wants to give you those things and so much more. You may be thinking πŸ’, they just don’t know what I’ve done, the mistakes that I’ve made, but I’m here to tell you, no sin is so great that God Almighty cannot forgive AND forget. The key πŸ”‘ to having peace, is to allow Him to forgive you, and then, you must forgive yourself. Let yourself be forgiven and redeemed. Forgiving yourself can be difficult sometimes, but once you allow God to forgive you, and you forgive yourself, you can have peace. We are ALL unworthy, but thanks to God,when He saves us, we are a new creature made worthy by His blood. Your past transgressions are no longer visible to Him, for you are covered by Christ’s blood. Satan may cause these things to trouble you, but you must remember, that you are redeemed and nothing can take you out of God’s hands. 2 Thessalonians chapter 1:7 “And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,” you may be troubled or haunted from time to time, but God is saying, Β be encouraged because you shall have rest, when He returns! No more to be troubled, no more to be discouraged or weary! Our hope is in Him and Him alone, never forget that! Your past is your past, gone and forgotten by the King of Kings, and if He says you are forgiven and pardoned, then that you are! Only a person of great authority can pardon a prisoner or stay an execution, but God is the ultimate authority and if He has saved and forgiven you, then who can say otherwise! Don’t faint, keep fighting the good fight, don’t fall for satan’s tricks and troubles, come to Christ, stay in Christ, and one day you will have rest and peace that will never again be taken away, once our Lord and Savior returns to earth 🌏 for His own.

Taking the Bait

I was fishing 🎣 the other day with my family and my husband put lure on that would definitely appeal to a fish 🐟. It was a light color and had shiny metal on it. So I was fishing 🎣 , and a fish 🐟 went for the bait but I missed, (probably not paying attention), and I said, oh I missed him, then I thought πŸ’ to myself, I bet he was like, oh no, I missed my food. I was a little disappointed πŸ˜” that I missed him, and I thought he was disappointed that he missed a “meal”. Then I thought πŸ’, the fish 🐟, didn’t realize that it was a trap, he was lured in by the appearance, while not seeing the danger. Therefore the fish 🐟 missing the bait, was actually a blessing for him.

My friends, do you see how this relates to us? Sometimes we want something that appears to be exactly what we need, and so we strive to achieve it, we miss and then we are disappointed πŸ˜” that it didn’t work out, but all the while your God was keeping you from being snared. God’s hand is often unseen, but it is always there. 1 Timothy chapter 6: 9, ” But they that would be rich Β fall into temptation and a snare, and fall into many a foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.” This is why it is so important to ask for God’s will, and trust the gentle guiding of His hand. When things don’t work out the way you have planned, it just may be that you have escaped a hook that would take you somewhere you would never want to go.

Have you ever been outside and you have a cup of soda or something sweet, and you leave it unattended for a bit, and when you come back to it, there will be ants 🐜 on it, and even a couple that have drowned? I saw this the other day, and I thought πŸ’ , poor ants 🐜, if they only knew that they would slip inside the cup and drown, they would never try to reach the sweet “reward,” that calls to them. Of course, they are ants 🐜, they don’t Β think πŸ’ Β this way, they are simply driven by their desires to locate nutrients and collect them. They are not thinking πŸ’ about the slippery slope inside of the cup or can, they are merely driven to their desire.

Are people so different than the ants 🐜? No. People, when they are tempted by sin, and when they CHOOSE to indulge, do not realize the slippery slope that they are trying to manage. Perhaps they have been tempted, and thinking that nobody will ever know, they begin to travel the slippery road. They do not see the destruction that is awaiting them, BUT IT IS THERE. The destruction lies in wait, and if one does not stop βœ‹πŸ» and repent, they will surely fall in. The Venus flytrap works by slowly closing on it’s prey and by the time the victim realizes it has been caught, it is too late. People think that they can dabble in this and that, and as long as nobody knows, it will be fine, they don’t realize that they are slowly being consumed by the sin. The Bible says, that those who commit sin, become servants of that sin. Also in Romans chapter 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” When one sins, you accrue a debt, this debt will be paid by your life, not to mention the others who are around you that will ultimately be affected by your sin, but the salvation and forgiveness of the Lord is free, it is a gift, all one must do is accept it freely.

If you have been tempted, and you are being drawn by your carnal desires, you think nobody will know, and nobody will be hurt, you need to stop βœ‹πŸ», you are on a slippery slope that will have no good end. There is destruction that awaits you, learn from the ants 🐜, don’t drown in your own desires and sins.

πŸ›’ The Shopping Cart πŸ›’ πŸ›’

I know all of you at one point or another having been shopping, pushing a cart πŸ›’, and you are just a going, nothing on your mind but the task at hand 🀚. All of a sudden your cart πŸ›’ makes an awful sound πŸ”Š and comes to a hault. You look πŸ‘€ down at the wheels and there will be a small piece of plastic, or a small stone. Β The cart πŸ›’ that is a very effective shopping aid is rendered useless at this point, until you move the objet and then you can proceed. ~Our Christian walk can be similar to the shopping cart πŸ›’. We are going about our business, doing the best that we can, and all of a sudden something will cause us to stumble. It could be something that takes your mind off of Christ, it could be health related, or even a tragedy. Whatever the circumstance, you are brought to a hault and unlike the cart πŸ›’, you cannot fix this problem. I have good 😊 news for you my friends, Isaiah 59:1, says this, ” Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither is His ear heavy, that it cannot hear:” When we come to a hault due to circumstances, all we must do is look πŸ‘€ to Him. He is concerned for your well being and more importantly, He is deeply concerned for your soul. He does not want you to stay in the status quo, He wants you to seek Him for help. He wants you to allow Him to reach down, and help you overcome the obstacle that has brought you to a stop βœ‹πŸ». Β He wants to help you. His hand is not shortened, that He cannot save. Don’t try to push your cart πŸ›’ through the debris of life by yourself, it will be so much more efficient Β to have God help you through, and get you rolling again.Β

Wait🚦,Trust βš“οΈ, and ObeyπŸ™

Waiting on God can be one of the most difficult things that a Christian must do. When you are waiting for the Lord, Β you feel like you are standing still, and there are forces coming against you, it could be financial, physical, spiritual, a job, other people, anything that you are concerned 😳 Β about and have been praying about. It is so very easy to take our eyes off of God and onto the problems. And trying to handle things our way can lead to serious repercussions sometimes, because we must trust and wait on God. Moses had gotten so fed up of hearing the Israelites complaining to him, that he himself was guilty of taking matters into his own hands 🀚. In Numbers 20:3,10,11, 12 “And the people chode with Moses, and spake, saying, Would God that we had died when our brethren died before the Lord.” This is an example of outside pressure from the world 🌎. (10) And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?” This is an example of the frustration one can get in difficult times. (11) And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice:” Here we see what happens when you give in to the distractions and frustrations. He was told by God to speak to the rock but because he got so frustrated, impatient, he took matters into his own hands.(12) And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.” Here we have a direct result of not waiting on God. Moses, I’m sure was grieved by this, but He trusted God and accepted it. Saul however was quite different, in 1 Samuel 13 when he attempted to make an offering to the Lord. He said that the people were scattered from him, and Samuel hadn’t come when he said he would, and the Philitines were gathered, so he had to force himself to perform the offering. He was told to wait and he disobeyed, he let fear from the enemy, voices from the crowd cause him doubt, and even though the outside pressures are what enduced fear, it was he himself who sinned. Like Moses, even though it was external circumstances that were up against him, he was the one that didn’t trust God, therefore he was the one who had to face the repercussions. Don’t let pressure and circumstances from the outside world 🌎, cause you to doubt your God. He will fulfill what He has said, He will keep you and guide you, all you must do is, wait,Β trust, and obey.Β

πŸ˜”Sorrow to Joy 😁

I will often reminisce πŸ’ over loved ones that I’ve lost. I am very fortunate that I still have some of my treasured relatives here with me, but still there are a few that are gone. Sorrow can certainly fill your heart ❀️ when you remember what you’ve lost. I’ve got some children πŸ‘Ά who are gone, my father in law whom I loved, is gone, and when I think πŸ’ about them, I feel so very sorrowful πŸ˜”, the quick stab of pain has waned but the ache will always be. I thank God that though they are gone, they have not been lost. God knows exactly where they are, and He has them with Him. That is the ONLY comfort I have regarding them. 1st Thessalonians chapter 4:13-14,17 “But I would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. (14), “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. (17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” What hope we have my friends! All we must do here on earth, is believe God, that He is who He says He is, and serve Him and endure. We must endure and one day, one glorious day, we will meet again those who left us, and even more importantly, we will see Jesus, in all His glory, and there shall we EVER be with Him!! You may hurt here on earth 🌏, you may feel the sorrow will never end, BUT if you will believe in Christ, your sorrow will be turned into joy unspeakable! In verse 18, Paul tells us this, “Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” I do hope you have found comfort in these words, and know this, whatever God has, He is fully able to keep! He has your loved ones, they are safe, and one day, you will see them again!!Β

Staying Focused πŸ€“

We have two dogs 🐢, Heidi is our yorkie, and Finley is our golden retriever.

I bet you can guess who the boss is! πŸ˜†Anyway over the weekend my husband and myself were going to town. Heidi was watching out the window and Finley was standing by the door πŸšͺ. So, we left and about halfway to town, I had forgotten something, so we turned back around. The dogs 🐢 got excited 😊 like they always do, and we both went to get the items that we had forgotten. Heidi gets upset sometimes when Finley gets excited and they immediately began to fuss with each other. As a matter of fact they were so engrossed with each other, they never saw us leave. (I just want to add, they were not fighting, they were mildly bickering as Heidi was trying to control Finley.) So anyway when we walked out, we both laughed because we knew that when they stopped they would look around and be like, Where did they go! When we came home again it was business as usual, Heidi was watching out the window and Finley came to the door.Β

This little experience got me to thinking πŸ’ though. We as Christians can get so focused on what’s going on around us, that we lose sight of what’s truly important. We lose sight of the fact that we are to be winning souls for Christ, or reaching Β out to those who are in need, or even missing out on the presence of the Lord. It’s so easy to do, it’s so easy to be distracted by what’s going on, that’s why it is so important to spend time with God each day! Take a look πŸ‘€ at what is being said in Hebrews chapter 12:13-15, “And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. (14)Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: (15) LOOKING DILIGENTLY lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root up bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;” You see here how important it is to be mindful of our souls. Yes, we are of Christ once we are saved, and nothing can take us out of His hands, but we can take ourselves out of His hands. We must be mindful of our souls, keeping that which is so important as a precious treasure that we’ve Β found. Not ever becoming so focused on this world 🌎 and all its worldly goods, that we forget about our priceless, precious treasure, our salvation. Stay focused, keep communing with God each day, if you do this, you will not be like our 🐢 dogs, that missed an opportunity because they were so focused on each other.Β
